Dr. Ahmet Kuyumcu
Dr. Kuyumcu draws from 15+ years of hands-on experience to ensure that Prorize provides the best price optimization solutions for its clients. He has built profit-generating pricing systems across a wide range of industries including hotel, gaming resort, self-storage, apartment, high-tech manufacturing, broadcasting, automotive, distribution and on-line retailing. Previously Chief Scientist at Zilliant, Dr. Kuyumcu pioneered patent-pending price optimization algorithms for the entire Zilliant product suite. Prior to Zilliant, as Senior Scientist at Talus (now JDA), he engineered the scientific processes for the most successful pricing products in the travel-transportation, media, automotive and apartment industries. Dr. Kuyumcu also taught graduate-level courses in pricing and revenue management at The University of Texas at Austin. He is actively involved in the Pricing and Revenue Management section of INFORMS and continues to organize and participate in multiple conference sessions and research clinics. Dr. Kuyumcu has authored and published several articles in professional journals and presented more than two dozen technical articles at conferences and universities around the world. He holds M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in Operations Research from Texas A&M University.
Dr. Utku Yıldırım
Dr. Yildirim develops cutting-edge pricing and revenue management solutions at Prorize. Prior to joining Prorize, he was a member of the Revenue and Profit Management Department at Walt Disney Parks and Resorts, where he developed and deployed system-wide revenue management solutions. He built models and generated related analytics for a variety of business problems including, but not limited to, merchandise pricing, hotel and restaurant revenue management, internet advertisement inventory and revenue management. He is known in professional circles as a leading expert in applied probability, queuing theory, stochastic optimization and revenue management. He earned his Ph.D. in Operations Research and Industrial Engineering at The University of Texas at Austin.
Mr. Robert Levine
Mr. Levine focuses on the areas of sales, marketing and new business development. He draws on over 25 years in the software and consulting industries. He leverages his experiences in early stage companies spanning Price Management and Optimization, Analytic CRM and Real-time Decisioning, ERP and IT systems management. Most of his efforts have led to successful IPO or acquisition outcomes. His experiences include first to market, highly differentiated solutions whereby Mr. Levine has led sales and development into new markets or strategic territory for upcoming companies. His approach includes aligning well-understood or common customer problems with fresh solutions that require only specialized services or ground-breaking technologies. These efforts have resulted in effectively combining a satisfied base of early adopter customers with the insight and scale for his organizations to cross into larger markets. Mr. Levine has both a Bachelor of Science in Management and in Accountancy from Bentley University.
